I'm a biomedical engineer turned software developer with around eight effective years shipping software and hardware across the medical, financial, and SaaS worlds — from Goldman Sachs market-risk systems to bespoke imaging devices for clinics.

My core is Java and Spring Boot — and increasingly agentic AI backends built on the Anthropic Claude API. What I care about most is backend architecture, security, communication protocols, and deployment — CI/CD, containers, and Kubernetes. I lean DevOps: I want to own the pipeline and the infrastructure, not just the code. Frontend (React) I'm still learning and use pragmatically — my focus stays on the system behind it.

I live a nomadic life out of the Yucatán Peninsula & the Riviera Maya and spend my time off underwater — I'm an Advanced PADI scuba diver and AIDA 2 freediver, training for deeper apnea dives along the cenotes and open water of the Caribbean coast.
